The Storms in the sky up above,
The fiery prick of dry stalks beneath
Distant I see sunny white clouds approaching
I need to thank the Lord for being still alive

Dry grass too ; flirting with my skirts
No one around for miles I can see
Have I walked too far away; off course?
Distant I see sunny white clouds approaching
Will they simply pass away; or will they pause
To enquire of my plight;to question my stance aloof!
Perhaps They are preoccupied and In a hurry!
I need to thank the Lord for safety and security
Under his umbrella of unconditional Love......
Kept me warm through chilly days,happy through my dark venues
